Chapter XII: Papal Infallibility

                  From here, Chick attempts to attack the teaching on Papal Infallibility by claiming how popes in the past have “declared themselves to be God.”   The problem is that of the three popes referenced (Innocent III, Boniface VIII, and Leo XIII), none of them actually “declared themselves to be God.” [1]    At the same time though, even if a pope did declare himself to be God, it still would not, in of itself, violate the teaching of Papal Infallibility.
